We invite you to participate in the “Taste Fortress – III Lower Silesian Festival of Historical Cuisine and Traditional Products in Czoch Castle”, which will take place from 11 to 14.06.2020, and is one of the biggest and most popular historical events in the region. The two previous editions of the Festival have been a spectacular success. The number of guests visiting the last edition of the Festival has exceeded 16 000 tourists. Thanks to this, the Lower Silesian Historical Cuisine Festival has grown into the biggest event of its kind in the Lower Silesian Voivodship and one of the most important in Poland.

The III Lower Silesian Historical Cuisine and Traditional Products Festival will consist of shows and workshops devoted to culinary traditions in Poland, presentations of historical delicacies produced in Lower Silesia, as well as shows and workshops of culinary traditions of other European countries. Representatives from around the world will also be invited to participate in the event, and will present the historical culinary traditions of their peoples.

We encourage you to cooperate in the question of renting a stand within the exhibition grounds around the Czoch Castle, i.e. in the courtyards of the castle, the area of the moat and the grounds of the castle farm for commercial activities (there will be dishes and products of historic cuisine, and products of the regional cuisine, as well as handicrafts). We guarantee reaching thousands of tourists, lovers of history and of historical cuisine, as well as connoisseurs of good food and fun from all over the country.

INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS

Zone 1. MAIN COURTYARD – located on the tourist trail – Dimensions of a stand – about 10 m2. Increasing the exhibitor or commercial space can be obtained by ordering more stands, after obtaining the approval of the zone coordinator. In the main courtyard there will be only stands of exhibitors offering historical cuisine, whose stands will recreate the historical tradition of a given era.

Zone 2. CASTLE MOAT – The number of exhibitor stands is limited. People who want to set up a stand in the castle moat are obliged to attach its display on a photo (with the assortment). The Organiser requirement is that the moat should contain only stands offering historical cuisine and that the stand design and clothing of the personnel serving them refer to the historical tradition of a given era, to which the dishes that are served at the stand correspond. The organiser reserves the right to select (indicate) the location of a stand or to turn down an application that does not meet the requirements set out above. The size of one commercial stand is approx. 20 m2. Increasing the exhibitor or commercial space can be obtained by ordering more stands, unless the Organiser specifies otherwise.

Zone 3. LOWER COURTYARD – located on the tourist trail – Dimensions of a stand – about 10 m2. Increasing the exhibitor or commercial space can be obtained by ordering more stands, after obtaining the approval of the zone coordinator. Only stands of exhibitors offering historical cuisine will be erected in the main courtyard, the stands of which will recreate the historical tradition of a given era.

Zone 4. OUTER BAILEY – located on the tourist trail – Dimensions of a stand – about 10 m2. Increasing the exhibitor or commercial space can be obtained by ordering more stands, after obtaining the approval of the zone coordinator. Other commercial stands (not necessarily related to the gastronomic offer) will be set up at the outer bailey.

SPECIAL OFFER – there is a possibility of reducing or waiving the fee for a given stand if exhibitor actively participates in the Festival by organising a minimum of 3 product samplings (tastings) each day for at least 50 participants of the Festival and if exhibitor organises a chat on the subject of historical cuisine and presents a demonstration of cooking historical dishes. The offer is subject to prior agreement and acceptance by the Festival organisers.
